Monastic Visits & Special Events

Each year, Self–Realization Fellowship monks and nuns visit our center to help fulfill the ever-growing demand for Paramahansa Yogananda's soul-liberating teachings. They conduct inspirational programs, group meditations, kirtan chanting, and meet/greet devotees as well. 

BROTHER KAMALANANDA AND BROTHER ISHTANANDA TO VISIT THE ATLANTA CENTER

JULY 18th - 19th, 2026

We are blessed to share that Brother Kamalananda and Brother Ishtananda will be visiting the Atlanta Center on Saturday, July 18th, and Sunday, July 19th.

Saturday, July 18th

Join us Saturday morning for our 3-hour Extended Meditation Service with Kirtan led by Brother Kamalananda with Kirtan.

The service will be from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM. (Those unable to attend all three hours may quietly enter or exit the Sanctuary on the half-hour, at 10:30 or 11:30.)

Sunday, July 19th

The day will begin with our Sunday Meditation and Service, followed by a time of fellowship with light refreshments. Afterward, Brother Kamalananda will offer reflections on Self-Realization Fellowship's spiritual work and vision for the future, with an opportunity for questions and informal conversation to follow.

Schedule:

  • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Sunday Meditation & Service
  • 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM - Refreshments & Fellowship
  • 12:45 PM - 1:45 PM - Information Session & Conversation

This is a meaningful opportunity to come together in fellowship, deepen our understanding of SRF's ongoing work, and hear directly from Brother Kamalananda.
