WELCOME TO SRF ATLANTA

The Atlanta Center is a branch of Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF), a worldwide non-profit religious organization with international headquarters located in Los Angeles, California. SRF was founded in 1920 by Paramahansa Yogananda for the purpose of disseminating Kriya Yoga, a sacred spiritual science originating millenniums ago in India, for attaining direct personal experience of God. In India and surrounding countries, Paramahansa Yogananda’s work is known as Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS), which has more than 100 centers, retreats, and ashrams. The Atlanta Center serves families and friends throughout Georgia and the southeastern neighboring states. The Center is open to the public during our services, which are held on Sunday mornings.

SRF Atlanta Center Operational Updates

Ensuring everyone’s safety while at the Center is important to us.
Wearing masks inside the building is optional.
Please be mindful of others and avoid sitting directly beside or behind someone if possible.

Presently, The Center will be open on Sundays only:

  • Sunday 10:00 AM Meditation Service
  • Sunday 11:00 AM Reading Service

Additional services now being added:

  • Beginning September 2022, we will again be conducting all Commemorative Services
  • Beginning Sunday, September 11th, Fellowship Hall will be open for fellowship after the Sunday services.

Sunday school will remain closed due to lack of volunteer teachers. If you are a Kriyaban and interested in serving in this area, please contact us.

We will continue to gradually add services and update our guidelines as we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and we have enough volunteers available to support additional services.  If you would like to volunteer serving at the Center, please contact us. We appreciate your patience and support as we navigate operating the Center at this time.

We will be using email to communicate any policy updates or additional services. If you know of devotees who are not receiving the Center’s emails and would like to be added, please have the devotees send an email to the Center’s email listed on our website.
