WELCOME TO SRF ATLANTA

The Atlanta Center is a branch of Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF), a worldwide non-profit religious organization with international headquarters located in Los Angeles, California. SRF was founded in 1920 by Paramahansa Yogananda for the purpose of disseminating Kriya Yoga, a sacred spiritual science originating millennia ago in India, for attaining direct personal experience of God. In India and surrounding countries, Paramahansa Yogananda’s work is known as Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS), which has more than 100 centers, retreats, and ashrams. The Atlanta Center serves families and friends throughout Georgia and the southeastern neighboring states. The Center is open to the public during our services, which are held on Sunday mornings. 

SRF SUNDAY SERVICES ON FEBRUARY 1ST CANCELED DUE TO WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED IN THE ATLANTA AREA

We have been monitoring the winter weather storm heading our way Saturday through Sunday.

All services on Sunday, 2/1, are canceled due to inclement weather.

  • Winter Storm Watch in effect from Saturday morning through Sunday morning
  • Periods of snow and sleet that could be heavy at times. Total snow accumulations of up to 1-2 inches or more in metro Atlanta

IMPACTS

  • Plan on slippery road conditions, with travel likely becoming difficult. Bridges and overpasses could become icy even as temperatures remain below freezing until Sunday afternoon.
