WELCOME TO SRF ATLANTA

The Atlanta Center is a branch of Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF), a worldwide non-profit religious organization with international headquarters located in Los Angeles, California. SRF was founded in 1920 by Paramahansa Yogananda for the purpose of disseminating Kriya Yoga, a sacred spiritual science originating millenniums ago in India, for attaining direct personal experience of God. In India and surrounding countries, Paramahansa Yogananda’s work is known as Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS), which has more than 100 centers, retreats, and ashrams. The Atlanta Center serves families and friends throughout Georgia and the southeastern neighboring states. The Center is open to the public during our services, which are held on Sunday mornings.

REOPENING OF ATLANTA CENTER

We are so happy to announce we will begin holding services at the Atlanta Center again starting July 25, 2021.

Ensuring everyone’s safety while at the Center is important to us. We ask all attending to adhere to the new policies and procedures for building occupancy we have put in place.

These policies have been created using CDC and FEMA guidelines and approved by our Atlanta Center managing council and the SRF Mother Center.

Atlanta Center reopening policies:

We ask that everyone properly wear a mask which covers both the nose and mouth while inside the building. A table will be set up at the front entrance with extra masks. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the building.

Capacity limits have been set for the bathrooms and the book room. Please take note of the signs throughout the building which denote the Covid precaution policies.

Fellowship Hall will be set up with theater style seating to accommodate overflow. We will ask everyone to maintain social distance throughout the Center. Please allow one chair between you and the next family group seated and do not sit behind anyone if possible.

We will have a few different procedures during our services in efforts to minimize exposure risk and maintain safety.

We ask that everyone exit the building after the service. Ushers will direct you to the outdoor spaces if you wish to greet your fellow devotees.

Until further notice, the Center will be open on Sundays only for the 10 AM meditation service and the 11 AM reading service.

Sunday school, the infant room and the kitchen will be closed until further notice.

We will gradually be adding services and updating guidelines as we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation.

We appreciate your cooperation and your patience as we navigate operating the Center in these new times.

We will be using email to communicate any policy updates or additional services.

If you know of devotees who are not receiving the Center’s emails and would like to be added, please have the devotees send an email to the Center’s email listed on our website.

A very warm welcome back to everyone. Our hearts go out to all of you who have experienced loss during these difficult times.

We are glad to be able to come together again in Master’s Atlanta Center to share in our love for God and Guru.
